When My roommate and I were caught off guard with an intellectual property suit we were nervous to say the least. We did some research and I called Andrew from Bay Oak Law. It was the best decision I could have made. He was an immense comfort. He consulted me over the phone and helped me get a realistic view of how to handle things. He had a low retainer fee and was able to help negotiate with the other party. He was incredibly professional and at the same time he made a very personal connection and helped me keep a level head. I think every small and medium size business should have a lawyer whom they know and trust.  You may not need a lawyer today, but you will need one.  This is a requisite for business. Today business is intense and competitive.  You will need someone on your side when  legal issues arise. You don’t want to meander around for a lawyer when you are in a "not so good situation".   Look for a small business lawyer when you don’t need one.  If he knows about your company, ie, how long you have been in business, what your company does, amount of employees, location, etc., he can serve you when needed.   I have been using Andy Of Bay Oak Law Firm for 8 years.  He has saved me quite a bit of money, and time. More importantly, he understands me and my business and his advice is commendable.   I highly recommend him.

I’m confused. I contacted this law firm over 1 week ago and spent a good amount of time explaining my needs as a small business owner in the East Bay. I was assured that one of Bay Oaks lawyers would contact me right away so we could begin our work together. This never happened. I called several times today, but was never able to speak to a human being. I left one message, but did not receive a return call. I am very disappointed with the lack of interest and customer service.
